FED:Labor plays down bad Galaxy poll=2
Labor backbencher Andrew Leigh said polls don't matter.
"Polls two years out from an election have no predictive power," he told Sky News.
Meanwhile unnamed shadow ministers and backbenchers have told the Canberra Times there
is angst in opposition ranks over Tony Abbott's leadership style and paranoia about being
double crossed.
The paper reports Mr Abbott has little trust of his front bench, some members of his
team think he is making too many unilateral decisions and his populist stances often fly
in the face of party policy.
Victorian Liberal senator Mitch Fifield dismissed the report as "bizarre".
"It sounds like complete rot to me," he told Sky News.
"Tony has an open-door policy with his colleagues."
Mr Abbott always had made himself available to discuss policy issues.
"He's a very inclusive leader and has the party's full support," Senator Fifield said.
