Jamie Morgan is a loser.
Actually, he is what is known, in the frequently folksy vernacular of tennis, as a "lucky loser." Or at least he was. Right now, as the OTB Open heads into its fourth day (which is really the sixth day for Morgan) he is not a loser of any kind. Right now he is a winner. A big and surprising winner.
Confused? That's OK. Morgan himself seemed a bit disoriented Wednesday afternoon shortly after he had beaten countryman, teammate and friend Mark Woodforde 6- 2, 6-3 to advance to the quarterfinals.
