Vic: Black belt policeman pleads guilty on weapons charges
MELBOURNE, Jan 17 AAP - A Victorian policeman who stockpiled at least 20 martial arts-style
weapons was today fined and put on a good behaviour bond after pleading guilty to weapons
charges in a Melbourne court.
Senior Constable Scott Cheasley, 31, of Altona Meadows, had been both a martial arts
enthusiast and "very keen" to join the police force since he was schoolboy, the Melbourne
Magistrates court was told.
