NSW: Ski instructor sues doctors over lump diagnosis
A ski instructor who was told not to worry about two lumps removed from his neck is
suing his doctors after they were later found to be cancerous.
GEOFFREY WAYNE SMITH, of the Gold Coast in Queensland, is suing the Goulburn Area Health
Service and three doctors for negligence after they failed to diagnose the tumours.
The health service and doctors have admitted a breach of duty of care occurred and
damages are to be decided in the Downing Centre District Court in Sydney.
